Crysis has nearly all of that : - Vehicules with smooth controls - Realistic destroyable terrain - Multimode weapons - Weapon customization on the fly - Variety of gameplay (sneak, fleet, taking cover, piloting tanks and copters, and even a zero-gravity level)
But hey, that game was a failure IMHO. I've finished it in the hardest game mode and "well, ok, that was fun, I can put it back on the shelve". This game was empty... It has some terrific and kick-ass graphics but I don't know, it lack something. The meta-suit was a good idea in theory, but it finally turn out to be a very bad idea, making the game way too much easy.
Comparing to a Bioshock or F.E.A.R I could replay easily, Crysis is just "yet-another-fps".
Hmm..
