Frozen Synapse
"You've patched in to the enemy's security system: get ready to make your plan.Frozen Synapse - Moddb
Frozen Synapse is the ultimate strategy game: you have full control over your strike team, directing their every movement.
At the same time, your opponent is plotting to defeat you. Plan your moves, then hit the "Execute" button: both you and your enemy's turns are executed simultaneously.
Bite-size, hardcore strategy: a touch of X-Com and Laser Squad, with a striking sci-fi aesthetic."

Dear Esther (Half-Life 2 mod)
Robert Briscoe is currently redeveloping Dear Esther - bringing up the standard of the environment, shifting some of the coding to get subtitling working and (most importantly) re-jigging the path through the environment and the player experience to deal with the common problems brought up by players after the release of v1.1.Dear Esther - Moddb
I'm massively excited about this- check Robert's portfolio for his work, which is pretty outstanding. Alongside a great modding CV, he worked as a level designer on Mirror's Edge amongst other professional developments, so the result should be a visual and gameplay environment which meets the quality of the soundtrack and voiceover, and will take the whole experience to a new level. Update on the Swedish game industry
Contrary to my sources, or due to dated information, DICE is actually hiring people. Although, like us, they're mostly hiring very senior positions.
Regarding Grin, it seems that they won't be making any press releases about the closing of their studios anytime soon, but several ex-employees have formed a new company in Gothenburg, called Outbreak Studios.
If I'm ever posting incorrect information, or you have some updates, feel free to post a comment and I'll make sure to update.
