GRIN worked on Final Fantasy and Wanted 2?
"During 2009 I’ve been working on the preproduction for an unannounced, and now canceled project with the production name “Fortress” for Square Enix. It mainly included documentation and design of new game play systems and art production guidelines as well as research into how to solve the graphical scenes presented in the game design document."Fortress (Most likely the Final Fantasy project)
"I worked on Bionic Commando, Terminator and a unannounced Final Fantasy project."
Cult (Wanted 2?)
Seems like Square Enix wasn't satisfied with Fortress for some reason, and delayed payments for the project while knowing or hoping that GRIN wouldn't be able to suffice for long without them.
Thus forcing them into bankruptcy and the cancellation of the project, contract and the need to pay them in the first place. This is just my unconfirmed guess of how events played out, and shouldn't be taken as fact for the least.

Gamasutra: Dirty Coding Tricks
"Back at [company X], I think it was near the end of [the project], we had an object in one of the levels that needed to be hidden. We didn't want to re-export the level and we did not use checksum names. So right smack in the middle of the engine code we had something like the following. The game shipped with this in.Gamasutra: Dirty Coding Tricks
if( level == 10 && object == 56 )
{
HideObject();
}
Maybe a year later, an artist using our engine came to us very frustrated about why an object in their level was not showing up after exporting to what resolved to level 10. I wonder why?"

Monster Taxi by Dopefish (GTA3 mod)
This is an smal GTA3 mod I made sometime during 2002. Turns every taxi car in the game into super cars that could do almost anything. Embedded the old feature list below, and instructions on how to implement it :)
Features:
Wall climbing
Doesn't "drown"
Almost invurnable
Instant handbrake
Monster truck tires
Nice speed and steering
No "open the door" animation
A bit more variations of colors
Shoves other cars up into the air
Almost never land upside down and stays that way

GRIN goes belly up and is no more
According to my sources, people picked up their belongings yesterday, and the studio closes the doors for the last time later today.
This raises the question of how Fatshark will fare from all of this, with GRIN as a stakeholder in the company, and the GRIN Diesel engine powering their upcoming Lead & Gold game.
