Fourth Annual Golden Llamas Nominations

The fourth annual Golden Llama Awards, which honor films created with the use of video game engines, has been set. Nominees include thirty machinima films in twelve categories, all vying for supremacy in this highly-selective field.

The Golden Llamas judging jury is comprised of V-sports journalists, professional video editors and past Golden Llama winners. This year, they include the festival’s founder, Michal “Carmac” Blicharz; Bjorn “zulg” Sunesson, who won four Golden Llamas for “fooze” in 2002; Jethro Ryan “jrb” Brewin, winner of eight Golden Llamas for “4Kings Revolution” and “Tricking iT2”; professional video games broadcaster Marcus “djWHEAT” Graham; and actor, writer and film director Richard Martini.

As usual, the jury faces a very difficult task. The quality level of the films constantly rises. And with the World of Warcraft boom in 2005, there are hundreds of new movies for consideration.

As you can see above, Nogg-aholic the Movie have been nominated for best tech, best audio and best WoW movie. This is an incredible honour for me and I'm really happy to just get a mentioning in such a extravagant event.

The only thing that is left is the awards show which will be ran by Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham himself tomorrow, but I got no clue about where it will be broadcasted :P
