Fallout goes MMO by 2010

The Fallout MMOG will be developed in the highly recognized Fallout post Nuclear Apocalyptic world giving consumers an ongoing virtual experience of today's life as if the cold war, which lasted for the best part of the second half of last century, had led to a nuclear disaster.

The budget for the Fallout MMOG totals $75,000,000 and will be funded by Interplay, its development and distribution partners.

Production Start: January 2007
Launch Date: July 2010
Worth noting, is the connection with that BioWare recently announced that they had a unnamed MMO project in the works, aswell as they're known for collaborating with Interyplay (Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, MDK2) in the past.
"We want to bring a level of storytelling that's equal to the single-player box games that BioWare has done. I think we can do that. One of the big challenges will be making our storytelling work in an environment that has multiple players."
-Creative director James Ohlen
