For those who haven't been to the cinema and watched Cloverfield yet, I recommend you to do so. An co-worker (who hadn't seen it) jokingly described it as "Blair Witch Project meets Godzilla", which is suprisingly close to the truth.
This movie is really unique, and is entirely seen from the perspective of a handheld camera. It is a real thrill to watch, closest compared to as going to the amusement park.

I saw it yesterday, it's great indeed, keeps you glued to your seat.
The thing that many people complains about is that it's a bit too "focused". I mean the plot isn't very deep and so on.
Anyway, I liked it despite a real lack of realism. They're incredibly unlucky to meat the monster each time and incredibly lucky to survive each time (a bar of iron trough the chest doesn't seem so painful, does it ?) Also the end could be a bit better, tough it isn't very important indeed.
