I do not get the point with multiplayer in F.E.A.R because it do not offer anything that is really new right now.
They should have gone further with the "fear" idea and maybe made dead players to ghosts that can walk around in the dead bodies and cause some minor problems for the living players or something else.
How cool would it not have been if one of them started eating on your head or someone was flyint around as a box? it could have created a completly new depth to the team multiplayer expirience if done correctly.

You can knock down items as a ghost in spectator mode, and push around chairs. F.E.A.R. is also the first multiplayer game that futures, slow motion/bullet time in multiplayer. Also, F.E.A.R. is probably the first multiplayer FPS that got this kind of martial arts to it, like Oni but that's only for single player.
